Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], March 6: Shubhangee Shelke, a natural bodybuilder from Gandhinagar, secured the Gold medal in the Women’s Sports Physique category at the prestigious 5th Mr. Gujarat 2025 Championship. Organised by the Health & Strength Association, the state-level bodybuilding competition took place in Surat on 1 March, bringing together top athletes from across Gujarat.

Competing against some of the finest bodybuilders in the region, Shubhangee’s dedication, discipline and passion for the sport were evident as she emerged victorious in her category. Despite her demanding full-time career with a global bank in GIFT City, Gandhinagar, she has successfully pursued her passion for bodybuilding, showcasing perseverance and commitment.

Commenting on her win, Shubhangee said, “I am thrilled to win the gold medal at the championship. Balancing my corporate career with my passion for bodybuilding has been challenging, but this achievement proves that with the right mindset, anything is possible. I hope to inspire more women to take up strength sports and pursue their dreams. I also aim to compete in bigger, higher-level competitions going ahead.”

Shubhangee received a cash prize of Rs. 11,001, a trophy, a medal and a certificate for her winning performance. The Health & Strength Association praised Shubhangee’s performance and dedication.
