Ashish Thapar, the Founder of Thapar Gallery, while reiterating the contribution of the Indian masters in global art movement, expresses his vision of‘’….seek(ing) to reinvigorate interest in their works by presenting them in a manner that highlights their enduring relevance, both in the historical context and in today’s rapidly evolving artistic landscape. Our inaugural exhibition spotlights their lasting relevance while fostering dialogue through artist-led programs and conservation initiatives.”

Mr. Thapar further emphasizes his objective to make art accessible to all, and asserts that “We want to break down the barriers between traditional art spaces and the younger generation of art lovers. Through curated online content, virtual tours, and educational programs, we aim to make the works of modern masters more accessible, especially to those who may not traditionally visit galleries or museums.”With its modern and inclusive approach, Thapar Gallery aims to inspire diverse audiences—from seasoned collectors to emerging art enthusiasts—ensuring that India’s artistic legacy continues to inspire generations to come.
